AHEM. Yeah. lol
Guess I'm musically falling for this guys (MAYBE 400 scrobbles on my LAST.FM in less than a week is a very good evidence of it, lol).

These guys are Chrigel Glanzmann and Anna Murphy from Eluveitie - he's the founder/vocalist/ player of many instruments and she's the hurdy gurdist/second voice.

I know Eluveitie since 2009 or so, but I would only listen to "Inis Mona" and "Slania's Song", because their music is very based on grunts and it was not really my thing (it still doesn't, but nowadays I'm much more "tolerant" to them ).

I think it's the phase I'm living through, which involves a lot of change (mainly how I face things in my life and how I dress myself), and Eluveitie is sort of translating this change into their music - the metal / grunts being this "courage" I must have to change, and the celtic/folk parts represents to me a "return to my origins", the search for my identity / style, of who I really am. By the way, I - unfortunately - am not directly related to any people with celtic roots, like the Irish people, this conection I have with them is more spiritual than anything else, it's the best explanation I have for it.

I don't know what's gonna be - if Eluveitie is going to change my life like Within Temptation or Florence did, if I'm going to become a fan, or if it's just a musical phase I have to go through due to the circunstances, but I'm certainly enjoying all of it so, so very much! Their music is certainly very captivating and they are one of the most insane and talented people ever!

About the drawing itself:
I wanted to make a stylized portrait of them, but using realistic colors. The result is not what I had in mind, but I really like it anyway! *-*

Acho que me apaixonei musicalmente por esses caras (TALVEZ 400 scrobbles no meu LAST.FM em menos de uma semana sejam uma boa evidência disso, lol).

Esses são Chrigel Glanzmann e Anna Murphy da banda Eluveitie, ele sendo o fundador/vocalista/instrumentista e ela a tocadora de hurdy gurdy/vocal secundária.

Conheço o Eluveitie desde 2009, por aí, mas só ouvia "Inis Mona" e "Slania's Song", porque o som deles é muito baseado em guturais e guturais não eram realmente a minha praia (ainda não é, na verdade, mas é fato que hoje em dia estou bem mais "tolerante" com eles ).

Acho que isso se deve à fase que estou passando atualmente, que envolve muitas mudanças (principalmente a forma como eu encaro as coisas na minha vida e como estou me vestindo), e o Eluveitie meio que traduziu essa mudança nas musicas deles - o metal / guturais sendo essa 'agressão' / coragem que eu preciso ter para mudar, e a parte celtic/folk representando para mim uma "volta às origens", a procura da minha identidade / estilo, de quem eu realmente sou. (By the way, não sou descendente de irlandeses / qualquer outro povo originados das tribos célticas - infelizmente -, essa minha conexão com a musica celta e afins é mais espiritual do que outra coisa, é a melhor explicação que tenho para isso).

Nem sei o que vai acontecer - se o Eluveitie vai me mudar assim como Within Temptation e Florence fizeram, se vou virar uma fã, ou se é só uma fase musical que eu tenho de passar devido às circunstâncias, mas uma coisa é certa: estou adorando essa fase e aproveitando muito, pra caramba, de montão. A musica deles é realmente cativante, e eles são algumas das pessoas mais insanas e talentosas que já pisaram nesse planeta!

Sobre o desenho em si:
Quis fazer aquela coisa do estilizado + cores realistas; acabou que não saiu bem do jeito que eu queria, mas eu curti o resultado mesmo assim! *-*
